Late Night Sushi in Houston

I haven't checked it out yet, but it appears that Zake Japanese Cuisine where Butera's on Alabama used to be years ago, then "Royal Japan", where I thought they did a nicebuild-out, is now packing them in on weekends, startingon Thursday nights.
A friend who works at Bookstop tells me that the parking lotfills up. And I took my little dog down there (Bookstopallow dogs since Petsmart opened next door) and we went by "Zake". Lots of glamorous and well-dressedyoung people and some live music or DJ. Now if only there were a similar place for us geezersafter the opera or whatever.

Can one get late night sushi at the new Highland Village place?I think Jack Tyler remarked about that place here recently.

Late night sushi has been around forever in NYC, Boston,Chicago, LA, and SF. It's the perfect late night snack, and in this town, it's hard to get late night food in aglamorous social setting. Check out Houston Asian Restaurants Guide . They have a very good Houston dining guide.
